How much does Oke Studio cost?

The Free plan costs nothing and includes full lesson booking, up to 20 songs, 30 notes, and teacher tools for up to 10 students. Oke Pro is R49 per month and unlocks unlimited songs and notes, the AI Lyric Finder, and priority support. Music schools can contact us for a custom plan. Full details are on the pricing page.

What are Oke Coins?

Oke Coins are Oke Studio's practice rewards. Students earn them automatically for real progress — adding a song, writing a note, starting a new piece, sharing a resource, and especially mastering a song. You can spend them in the app's Rewards Store on treats like celebrations, AI-generated poems and avatars, and even big rewards such as months of Oke Pro. Every coin you earn also counts towards your mastery level, which climbs from Open String up to Maestro — and spending coins never lowers it.

How do I connect with my teacher?

The easiest way is your teacher's invite link: open the link they send you, or scan the QR code they show you with your phone camera, then sign in or create your account and tap connect. Already signed in? Paste the invite link, or the Teacher ID code your teacher gives you, into the Connect to your teacher card on your home screen. Once you're linked, your bookings, songs and notes appear on your teacher's dashboard.

Is there a mobile or desktop app?

Oke Studio runs in the browser and works well on phones and tablets — just visit app.okestudio.co.za and sign in. You can also install the web app on your PC or Mac so it opens in its own window (see Install the app), or download the Mac desktop app from okestudio.co.za — it keeps itself up to date automatically. iPhone/iPad and Android apps are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.

How do I get a teacher account?

Sign up yourself: choose I teach music on okestudio.co.za (or open app.okestudio.co.za/auth/login/?role=teacher), add your instrument and city, verify your email, and invite your students straight away. Teachers must be 18 or older. We check new teachers within a day; after that your students see a Verified teacher badge next to your name. See For teachers for what's included.

How do I cancel Oke Pro?

You can cancel your subscription from within the app at any time. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — you can delete your account from the app's settings, and your data is removed in line with POPIA.

How do I report something or block someone?

Next to every feedback post, comment and shared resource from someone else there's a ⋯ menu. Choose Report to tell the Oke Studio team (the person isn't told who reported them), or Block this person to stop seeing anything they post. You can unblock people any time under Settings → Blocked people.

Does Oke Studio track children?

No. There are no ads in Oke Studio, and usage analytics only switch on for signed-in users whose date of birth shows they're 13 or older (and for teachers). Parents can ask us to see or delete their child's information at support@auxodigital.africa — see our privacy policy.
