Investment tracking
The Investment Tracking page lets you monitor and manage your joint investments and retirement savings in one place, so your long-term money sits right alongside your everyday money.

What you can track
Add and follow the investment types South African couples actually hold:
- Unit Trusts
- Retirement Annuity (RA)
- Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA)
- Shares / Stocks (JSE)
- Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)
- Property
- Endowment Policy
For each holding you record what you put in and what it is worth now, and Couple Capital shows your combined position and how it is split across investment types — so you can see your total picture without logging into five different platforms.
Tracking, not advice
This is important: Couple Capital tracks your investments — it does not give investment advice. It will never tell you what to buy, sell, switch or cancel, and it does not recommend products or predict returns. Its job is to give the two of you a clear, honest view of what you already hold.
When you want to make a decision — how much to put into your RA, whether a fund still suits you, how to structure things for tax — that is a conversation for a licensed financial adviser. Couple Capital helps you walk in well organised, with your real numbers in hand.
South African note: a TFSA has an annual contribution limit (R36 000 at the time of writing) and a lifetime limit, and RA contributions carry their own tax rules. Couple Capital helps you see where you stand, but always confirm the current figures with SARS or your adviser before acting.
Your policies, RA certificates and portfolio documents also belong in your Essentials Vault — read on.
