Family
Good money habits start young. The Family page brings the kids into your money picture with pocket money, allowances and chores that teach great money habits — in a way that is fun for them and simple for you.
Adding a child
Start by adding a child. From there you can set up pocket money, allowances and a chores-to-rewards board for each of them.
How it works
- Pocket money and allowances — set up a regular allowance for each child so the routine is predictable and automatic.
- Chores to rewards — give chores a value and let the kids earn as they help out. It connects effort to reward in a way children understand, and takes the nagging out of chores.
- A gentle first lesson in money — because it sits inside the same app you use for your own finances, the kids grow up seeing money as something a family plans and talks about openly, not a mystery or a source of stress.
Family is a great thing to glance at during a Money Date — a quick check that allowances are flowing and the chores board is up to date.
