Share and organize
Your meetings are private until you decide otherwise. When you do want to share — a single write-up with a client, or a whole folder with your team — Lalela gives you a few tidy ways to do it, and keeps your people and folders organised along the way.
Share one meeting by private link
Want to send just this meeting to someone — no account, no app needed? Open a meeting, choose Share a private link, and Lalela creates a read-only web link you can send to anyone.
- It's off until you create one. No link exists for a meeting unless you make one, and you can revoke it at any time — the link stops working instantly.
- Read-only, and only the write-up. Whoever opens the link sees the summary and notes — never the full transcript, and they can't change anything.
- Add a password if you like, and set it to expire — never, in 7 days, or in 30 days.
It's the quick way to share an outcome without inviting someone into your whole workspace.
Share a folder with your team
For ongoing collaboration, share by folder. Invite teammates by email and give each person a role — viewer, editor or admin — from Settings → Sharing or the share button on a folder. Everyone you invite sees the meetings in that folder (and its subfolders) sync to their Lalela, on Mac and on the web. Folders you don't share stay private to you.
Tasks you assign to a teammate in a shared folder show up on their own board, and notes everyone adds appear under their names — see Getting started for how shared notes and tasks work.
Find colleagues already using Lalela
If people at your company already use Lalela, you don't have to hunt for their addresses. When you go to share, Lalela can suggest colleagues on your work email domain so you can invite them in a click. This only ever surfaces people who share your company domain — personal webmail addresses are never used for suggestions — and it never exposes anyone's details beyond a name and work email for the invite.
People and Companies
Lalela quietly keeps a tidy address book of everyone you meet with — no data entry required. Open People and Companies to see who you've met, grouped automatically from your meetings' participants:
- Every person shows when you first met, when you last met, and how many meetings you've shared.
- Every company groups the people from the same organisation together.
- Sort by most recent or most frequent to see who you're spending time with.
It's built entirely from meetings already on your Mac, so it fills itself in as you go.
Folders, including subfolders
Keep your meetings sorted the way you think. Create a folder from the sidebar, and New subfolder to nest folders inside it — clients inside a "Clients" folder, projects inside a client, and so on. Sharing a folder includes its subfolders, and Automations can file new meetings into the right folder for you automatically.
When a folder has subfolders, a This folder / Include subfolders switch appears at the top. Turn on Include subfolders and the folder works as one big group: the meeting list shows everything from the folder and every folder nested inside it, and chatting with the folder draws its answers from that whole tree too — so a question about a "Clients" folder can reach the individual client folders underneath. Leave it on This folder to stay with just the meetings filed directly there. Lalela remembers the choice per folder, and you can set the starting default for every folder in Settings.
