Does Buza read everything on my phone?

No. Buza only sees the groups you add it to and the messages sent to its own number. Nothing is scraped, sold or used to train ads.

Do my members need to install anything?

No. Members just use WhatsApp as normal — Buza is simply another participant that happens to answer instantly.

Can I control what the assistant says?

Completely. You write its prompts, upload reference files, keep a toxicity watchlist, and can pause replies with one switch.

What happens after the free trial?

Pick a plan and carry on — or walk away. Your data stays yours either way, and you can export or delete it.

Is my community's data safe?

Conversations are stored encrypted in the cloud, visible only to your team's dashboard. Delete an assistant and its data is deleted with it — that's our POPIA position in one sentence.

Can I connect Buza to Claude, Cursor or another AI tool?

Yes. Mint a key under Settings → Connect AI and point any MCP-compatible client at it. It can list your conversation threads, summarise a thread, and draft messages on your behalf — scoped to your organisation only. Revoke a key any time.

Messages drafted by an AI tool are never sent straight away. They appear in the conversation as an AI draft and on your Notifications page; an owner or admin approves it, edits it first, or rejects it. Nothing is sent and no message credit is used until someone approves. Drafts expire after 24 hours, and a WhatsApp draft can only be approved while the customer has written to you in the last 24 hours (WhatsApp's own rule). Your assistant's normal replies to customers are not affected.

Can I use Buza in my own language?

Yes. The Buza website, sign-up, sign-in and workspace set-up screens are available in isiZulu, isiXhosa, Afrikaans, Sesotho and Setswana, next to English. Buza picks your browser's language automatically; change it any time with the language menu at the bottom of the sign-in screens or at the top of the website, and Buza remembers your choice.

These translations are new and marked Beta while native speakers check every word. If something reads oddly, tap Suggest a better word and tell us what you'd say instead. The rest of the dashboard is still in English for now.
