Getting started
1. Sign in
Open Duma and sign in with your email and password. New here? Create an account, then continue to onboarding.
2. Create your workspace
Your first stop is onboarding, where you name your workspace. A workspace is the shared home for your channels, media, posts and teammates — most teams need only one. You become its owner, which means you can invite others and set their roles later.
3. Connect a channel — or use the demo profile
To publish for real you connect a channel (a social account Duma posts on behalf of). Head to Channels and connect the network you want.
Not ready to connect a live account yet? Every new workspace comes with a demo profile already set up, and you can add more with Add demo profile. A demo profile behaves like a real channel through the whole flow — compose, schedule, publish, status — but records a mock result instead of posting publicly. It is the safest way to learn Duma before your live accounts are connected.
4. Invite your team (optional)
Add teammates and give each a role:
- Owner / Admin — manage the workspace, channels and members.
- Editor — compose, schedule, and publish.
- Contributor — compose and submit drafts for approval.
- Viewer — read-only.
Roles are how Duma keeps publishing in the right hands: a contributor can draft, but a post only goes out once someone with publish rights sends it.
