Escalating to the roadmap

Some feedback is more than a quick fix — it deserves a proper spot on the product roadmap. Iris makes that a one-click hand-off instead of a second, separate write-up.

The Escalate action

Open any item's detail view and choose Escalate. Iris sends it straight to Auxo's product roadmap tool, Arete, as one of two things:

• A quick item — for something small and self-contained. Priority carries across automatically: P0 becomes High, P1 becomes Medium, P2 becomes Low.
• A backlog item — for something bigger. You'll be asked to pick which column it should start in (now, next, or later).

What happens after

Once escalated, the item is stamped with where it went and when, so anyone looking at the board later can see it's already being tracked — no duplicate write-ups, no lost context.

If escalation isn't available

The connection to the roadmap tool is configured by the Auxo team. If it isn't set up yet, the Escalate action will say so plainly rather than fail silently — everything else about the board keeps working as normal.
