How do I sign up? Go to jobspark.co.za and create a free account. Signing up costs nothing, and you get 100 free credits to start.
Do I need to pay to use JobSpark? No. Browsing jobs, building your profile, and tracking your Readiness Score are free. The AI-powered features use credits — and your free signup credits let you try them all.
How credits work
What do credits pay for? Credits are used when JobSpark's AI does the heavy lifting for you:

What do my 100 free credits get me? Enough to properly try everything. For example: a full practice interview, a generated CV, a tailored cover letter, and a second practice interview — with credits to spare. Or three full practice interviews, if speaking practice is what you need most.
Where can I see my balance? Your credit balance is always visible in the app, with the full breakdown on the Credits page.

How do I buy more credits? Open the Credits page and choose a package:

You'll be taken to a secure checkout to pay in rand, and your credits are added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Is it a subscription? No. Top-ups are once-off purchases — no subscription, no recurring charges. Your credits simply top up your balance.
Voice interview practice
What do I need for practice interviews?
- A device with a microphone, and a quiet spot to speak in.
- An up-to-date browser. Voice answers work best in browsers with built-in speech recognition — Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are good choices.
- When you start a session, allow JobSpark to use your microphone when your browser asks.
What if my browser doesn't support voice answers? No problem — JobSpark lets you type your answers instead, and you'll still get full feedback on what you said.
What does "Analyse how I sound" need? This optional extra records your answers (with your permission) so the coach can give feedback on your pronunciation, fluency, pace, and energy. It needs a browser that supports voice answers and microphone recording, and it takes a little more time per answer.
