What is Aretê?

Aretê is a strategy-execution operating system. It gives a team one home for the two things that decide whether strategy actually happens: the operating rhythm that keeps everyone accountable week to week, and the product work that turns priorities into shipped things customers value.

It is built around EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System) and extended with a Product HQ, so the quarterly priority on the wall and the backlog item in the sprint are part of the same picture.

What you can do

  • Set quarterly Rocks. Define the handful of priorities that matter this quarter, each with an owner, a clear "done means" definition, and a live status.
  • Run a weekly scorecard. Track a small set of metrics against their targets so you see a number trending the wrong way before it becomes a crisis.
  • Hold a Level 10 meeting. A repeatable weekly agenda — headlines, scorecard, Rock check-in, and issue-solving — with the whole record kept for next week.
  • Work the issues list (IDS). Capture issues as they come up, then Identify, Discuss and Solve the most important ones together instead of letting them pile up.
  • Manage products in Product HQ. Keep each product's stage and strategy, a prioritised backlog, customer insights, hypotheses you're testing, and the releases you've shipped — all connected back to the Rocks they serve.
  • Ask Aretê. A built-in assistant helps you draft, summarise and make sense of what's in the system, so writing up a meeting or an issue takes seconds.
